Patella Instability

Patella Instability refers to the knee cap becoming unstabile in front of the knee.  This can occur due to both traumatic injuries during sports or even with a freak accident.  The patella normally glides smoothly in the front of the knee with bending and straigtening but occasionally will pop out of its right place causing severe pain and limitation.  Dr. Koenig specializes in taking care of these injuries with both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
